Welcome to the "official" personal homepage of Rev. Jon Prain.  Rev. Prain is the pastor of the Federated Church of Avon, Illinois (The church is affiliated with both the United Church of Christ and the Unitarian-Universalist Association).  He is the Chaplain of the 1/202nd Air Defense Artillery, Illinois Army National Guard.  He is the Village President (Mayor) of the Village of Avon, Illinois.  He is also a substance abuse counselor at Bridgeway Inc.

Jon likes genealogy (tracing family trees).  He is a huge Green Bay Packer fan.   He will be doing his doctoral research in the area of how addictions and co-dependency impact local churches.  The Prains home school their children.   You will see links to all of these subject areas on this page.
